Probably more a little beefier than necessary for display or food presentation, these butcher block style serving trays were a blast to build and a very fun process to work through. I made them (see other product listing for a dual handle version) from all sorts of cherry/maple offcuts and they were a great lesson in how much time is saved when you really focus on getting the glue-up portion of these sorts of projects correct.
